In my cap-stone project for my Informatics degree, we were tasked with working in a team of students to create a relational database for a local business. My group decided to create a database for a local cafe on our campus. During the exploratory phase of planning the project, we found that the system should able to be used easily from a smartphone and a desktop browser. In addition, our team found the need for the system to have an analytics function to visualize the usage of items. I was tasked with the creation of the UX of the system and ensuring the UI was simple to use for the middle aged clients. Below are the various prototypes for the mobile web browser, the version we felt needed the most attention on ensuring it worked successfully. During the prototyping phase we explored various UX techniques to figure out which style would fit our needs.
